FAQ
Are the Canvas Bell Tents & Camp Tipis
waterproof?
Yes they are. They are good for camping and all
weather conditions.
Weathering Process for canvas Bell Tents, Touareg
Tents & Camp Tipis.
When you receive your canvas tent it is advisable
to weather your tent once or twice before taking it on is first camping trip.
To weather the tent you should set it up and soak the outside with water from a
garden hose or a good rain downpour and then let it dry out completely in the
sun. It is normal to leak a little on the first use in seams and areas where
tiny holes have been made from needle and thread. After it gets wet and dries out
in the sun, the cotton fibers will expand locking out water for future use.
Canvas
Bell Tent & Camp Tipi Storage
It is very important to make sure your canvas
tent is bone dry before storing it. You can unzip the floor to clean or store
that separately if needed. If you remove the floor you will need to zip it back
on before you set it up again. If it is wet weather when you pack down you will
need to dry it out when you get home. They have been treated for resistance
against mold however you must store it dry.

contact for a delivery time. If items are in stock they will be sent within 5
days. If they are made to order it can take 30 days. You are welcome to contact
us for a delivery timeframe on the style you are after. You can also find

Does it get hot inside the beach tipi or the
canvas tents?
No, it stays cool inside our tents. The
combination of breathable fabric and airflow from underneath the beach tipi
allow this. You can also have them completely open if you wish to have shade
and not be inclosed. The Bell Tents and CampTipis have bucket floors which can
be unzipped for airflow and mesh screens.
Can one person easily set the tents up?
Yes. They are all to be easy to
set up in a couple of minutes. The trick with the BeachTipis is
to peg the fabric into the sand and then insert the pole inside the middle of the tent. The large is easier to setup with two people if it is windy.
They don't blow away like beach umbrellas or pop up dome tents. They must be
pegged into the sand.
The Bell Tents and Camp Tipis have a centre pole
which you insert into the tent after pegging out the sides, easy!
